Upped the ballast to 1000 watts yesterday. Lights are off right now I'll post some more pics. These things are blowing up now. Just checking every three or four hours and I can notice a difference in size.

    My 1st grow

Get your lights closer that thing is stretching a lot. Also, what kind of soil is that there's huge chunks of lumber in it and looks like it could benefit from some perlite to fluff it up. Seems a bit small for two weeks.

    First Grow

The room stays about 74 with the central AC on 72 and my tent is around 78.

    First Grow

Just out of the room. A lot of people vent out their window. Some into an attic. Mines just hung on the door frame then bent up and out a few feet since the ceilings in my hallway and living room are higher than the bedroom.

    First Grow

I use the ducting for intake because those little rectangle mesh spots aren't really adequate with filtering enough things and tons of light comes out. I like the ducting cause I can put my own filters on them and not let any dust or any other unwanted shit into my tent. Also since I can bend it...

Controlling and providing the optimal environment is just as important as pH, nutes and genetics.

    First Grow

First is two of my 3 passive intakes (I have one connected to my central AC but I'm not saying that's necessary) second is my exhaust from my fan

    First Grow

So you'd want 8-12 inches of intake. Usually those holes in the tent fit six inch ducting nicely. I'd get two of those going on the bottom of your tent and bend them to prevent light leaking out. Go for bottom since heat rises. You also really want to vent that exhaust air out the room so you're...

    First Grow

However big your fan is (4inch or 6inch) you want around 2-3x the passive intake. I have a 6inch 440 CFM and I use three of the intake/exhaust openings on my tent and still maintain negative pressure. Also where are you exhausting the air to? If you're doing it into the same room as your tent...

What are your temperatures at since adding your exhaust? Also make sure you have a passive intake for fresh air to come in.

    First Grow

At the stage youre at the largest culprit of any symptoms you may see are heat, pH and overwatering.
  15. Lachrymology

    First Grow

General stress, too high or low temp/RH, pH too high or low or a magnesium deficiency. Generally speaking if the plant is growing fine and they're slightly purple/red it's probably just genetic or they'll grow out of it.

I'll be potting up the rest of the Chem91 tomorrow evening I'll post some new pics after they're done tomorrow.

Seems okay to me. From my understanding deep red or purple could be a deficiency it could also be genetic.

    First Grow

diatomaceous should cut em up good, combine that with good watering practices and you should keep them away for good. The adult gnats themselves aren't very dangerous (besides disease they CAN spread to the plants) its the larvae in the soil who can nibble up on your roots that the most...

Leaves browning up and dying from bottom during flowering

There is no unanimous "best". There's different opinions per grower but any of the nutrient lines you see in general would be fine.

    First Grow

Water less frequently and let your topsoil dry out before watering again. To help remedy and as a general practice.
