Went out and shot this as an example of a "minimalist" grow. This is OG Kush x Pineapple Thai, 10gal plastic pot, FFOF, MaxSea All Purpose for veg, MaxSea Bloom for flower, topped once. That's it. This can be done very simply.

No, not at all. Before I knew what it was I had thought maybe something got too concentrated on the surface and caused problems. You can burn the foliage with plenty of over-the-counter stuff.

You've got at least two separate issues going on there, and neither are due to water droplets "burning" your leaves. It doesn't happen. In the two pics, there is nothing in common that would point to one cause. Top looks like possibly sucking insects and maybe some kind of mineral or fert...

Yes, very much so. Regardless of all the support you've received here, the grow did not meet code and you have no prayer of doing anything in the courts. The fact that you felt bullied is no basis for a lawsuit. At the very least, get a second opinion from another attorney before doing anything.

This is the likely outcome, I would bet. Then they'll order a ton of takeout to be delivered to the station and spend plenty of time "processing" the evidence.

Since the roots have not expanded to the lower area of the pot, you need to watch the surface for drying rather than depend just on the total weight. The moisture you feel as weight might be too low in the pot and the roots cannot reach it.

There is an excellent How-To on this site that will ensure your first few batches won't suck. I followed it for my first-ever batch of butter and it was a total success. Of course this is RIU, so the thread eventually went off the rails like this one has, but just focus on the illustrated...
