Sounds like your trying to speak of Nitrogen toxicity when saying dark green and too much nutrient. Let me show you the grinding halt I came to with a nitrogen toxicity, dosnt really look similiar.
I couldn't agree more, however I wish I had lower expectations and could accept that if it's growing just leave it alone. I can't help but think about growth I'm leaving on the table due to a plant that isn't 100% healthy.
Jen brings up a good point I was assuming you had some kind of aeration going on as well. It was a odd concept for me at first but your roots need to breath.
Listen to a guy like this ^ not me. I do think there is some importance in your soil ph though. I would agree that it is probably much more important in hydro.
Another thing is in my area the season is very short as well. Which then makes the pros of outdoors less valuable. So some of it is location dependent as well.
Lol ouch, well yea and then allthose other critters! And we have deer that like to eat the buds. And then the worry of someone stumbling upon your pride and joy! But I do agree about the perfect environment when only one pest makes it indoors!
Something that dawned on me is I think I've heard transplants can cause stunting as well. I don't know how many stepping stones you have to her final destination but something worth looking into.
