never heard of useing lead before??? that would cost a furtune and would weigh a ton on the roof. i dont think 2x 250w cfl's and one 250w hps light would give off enough heat for them to detect??? but tips is what i am after thought tinfoil was a good reflecter of uv heat

well i managed to insulate the loft. heres what i did, insulated the truses with 170mm thick insulation (b&q less than £4 a roll) think it was a top up sort of insulation really cheap, then boarded on top of that with plasterboard, then rolled out the insulation and split it (made it thinner)...

reptted the swiss cheese last night, couldnt do the quick ones as i didnt get time. the cheese has really improved since repotting, the roots was comeing out the older pots, the new ones are 4 liter pots and these will be follwed by a 10 litre final pot next week, then put in flower in ten days...

take a nail file or fine sand paper and give them a quick buff up, hopefully this will make em absorb some water and kick start them.

hi herbalbeast the white spores is possable mould, see if you can gently pick it off with tweezers. did you soak the seeds in water for 24hrs before you put them in paper towel????

had a quick look this morning and the quick ones look to have improved over night, i think this was due to adding an extra 250w cfl to go with the dual spectrum 300w one. the leaves are still a bit curled but i am defiantly putting this down to a cold snap a few days ago? the temps have gone up...

the perlite is just to stop it drying out so i dont have to water every day.
