If you can afford a HPS just get one. it will be worth it in the long run. You will yield much more. If not then i would say just plant that thing outside and let it become a huge monster... My uncles grows outside every year and gets about a pound off of each plant.... just my 2 cents...

i would say get some CFL's til the HPS comes and put em like an inch away.

03/17/08 Watered each plant around 9PM. 5ML of calmag plus. 10ml of PBPGrow. 5ML of Liquid Karma. PPM of water was 860. Will post more picture tomorrow... You guys think i used too much nutes???

they should be alright for right now. as time goes on the growth will probably start to slow cause they need more light. getting a couple CFL's wouldnt hurt. and their cheap. you can get a pair of 26w CFL's from walmart for $7 and a lamp for $9. a Y adapter from home depot for $2. thats a cheap...

i put a big bowl of hott water in my setup. that should raise your humidity a little. hope that helps...

a lamp definately wouldnt hurt. and dont water them so much. let the water dry out. i water my plants once every 3-4 days.

i have heard of topping plants but never heard of splitting them. sounds like sabotage to me.... just my 2 cents...

yeah i have been. i installed two cpu fans and added a big lasko 18" to keep the temp cooler. i keep the lasko outside the closet blowing cool air inside. right now its been staying about 80-84 when lights on and 72-77 when off. below is a pic of my setup.

I had the same problem with my plants. a few people told me it was nitrogen deficiency and someone told me it could be PH lockout... hopefully that helps.

i just bought some botanicare pure blend pro grow 3-1.5-4. i was going to buy the fox farm nutes but the guy at the store told me he uses this over the fox farm stuff for vegative growth. what you guys think?
