thats going to be a bright setup my next grow (occuring now) is using 4 48" T-12s and 150w HPS from HTG supply (amazing quaility) my seedlings are showing but I'm waiting for more material before i post a thread.

the hps will make too much heat for your 3' cab they need like 24 inches space between the plants or you will get 80*F+ and stress them. Stay with CFLs use alot of low wattage ones for better light coverage or just have 4-6 with higher wattage. make sure you keep them low and adjust them...

:eyesmoke: this shit is amazing! mello wood flavor with a sweet after taste. I'm totally blown off afew strong bong hits. i got 0.52 ounces i can't wait to grow with a HPS because the CFLs make the buds really fluffy and what looks like 1.3 ounces really turns out to be half that.

that sounds like a plan, you'll get some good smoke with that. I did the 24/0 for 1month then 12/12 for 2 months. The last month i just gave it water and slowly let the leaves die. 1 month flush will make it smoother/cleaner taste. Post your journal and keep up with it. I'm interested.

I would veg for atleast 30 days each day you wait the more yeild you will get. Just remember that the plant will double in size during flowering.

what kind of space is your plants in? a cab, or a open room? whats your vertical limits if its in a cab.

My finished product is a lightproof, 310W grow cab with 13"x22" area. all of my wiring was internal excluding the hps ballast and 1 power strip cord that run to the timer on the wall. here is my pics i'll answer any questions about the making of this box or my exp with it. :peace:
