I doubt the copters are going to pickup someone running a 300w light. Probably better to spread/dilute the heat with exhaust and fans than have it concentrated in one spot. Without exhaust you are going to have heat issues in the tent. ETA: Even with running CFLs my small tent will jump to...

Yep. I have scrapped the idea. :) Just thought it would have been nice because of fewer drivers required. Always learning.

If you're going to set it up to be viewable online, be sure to use strong passwords and a non-standard port. You don't want anyone to be able to view your grow. :)

Haha. I thought I was the only one with a camera on my grow. I use a Foscam that I can log into from work. Just for general interest and to check the temps during the day. The camera is on the same timer as the lights though.

I would prefer a "panel" array. :) For me, that would make it easier for mounting, wire management, and height adjustment. Since my thought is to grow using "scrog" I'm hoping my canopy is fairly level.

More than likely trying to cover an 18"x18" scrog. I would like the distance to be < 24" from the canopy because of tent height (5'). I plan to initially drive each Vero 18 at 40w.

Maybe I need to get the "panel" thought out of my head. I have a small tent with a 2'x4' footprint and will never be growing more than 3 plants. For coverage of the "panel" I sketched out, I would be trying to cover a 2'x2' area.
