Dank here ;) Gardening with Dank 101

Took a little while and a few runs (moved from a completely different climate a few years back) but, it's nice when it's established. I don't think it ever ends but, finally running a setup I feel pretty comfortable with.

As long as you get something. I'm pretty sure my friends' wife grew some like that as well.

    A perfect cure every time

I know exactly what you mean. It's not rocket science, though. In my opinion, this is why the hygrometer is a helpful tool. Takes out the guess work. I just meant the arguing and personal stuff takes away from the post and all the good info. Once you get it, you'll have it for good. If...

    Organic, efficient, AWESEOME bug repellent.

Yes. Whole pieces. You can probably chop it but, I never have. Just not like powdered or old, dried ingredients.

    deer problem

Lol. They're just trying to live, too. I like the idea of the Halloween motion activated skeleton. Sitting here thinking about it, that's probably an awesome idea.

Seems like every time I get new set of leaves the old ones die.

Wow that sucks. I don't use anything MG except perlite. Now they lost me on that, too haha.

Again, that plant is small and had some issues so, doesn't need a whole lot. A gallon may be excessive for that plant, at that size because she can't drink it fast enough. For now, just leave it be. Unfortunately when we talk, we're referring to schedules that fit healthy plants. Best you...

Nope, I tested the soil when I started, and PH is a problem I don't have =)

I don't think it's his perlite. While there is NPK it's like .75. 0-0-0 There's your answer. You over fed. Yeah use a half a teaspoon and feed the whole gallon. But for the next few weeks, just give her water.

Unless your familiar with growing broke, you'll get what you put in, haha. Remember, Alaska is every 3 WEEKS. 1 TBSP for 1 cu. ft. That's roughly a 7.5 gallon container. So if you have her in a 1 or 3 gallon? You'll need way less.

I stand corrected. I actually use soil test kits, though. I have never tested run off so that's my error. I thought he had a water PH test kit because he said his water was 7.2.

You might want to go look up super soils, too. How to make them, whats in them...good way to learn about soils and how they work.

I mean, anywhere from 6.0-7.0 is safe. Optimal is the 6.5 range depending on the plant. To be honest though, I never have PH problems because I water with rain and well water. When I set up my gardens I did Ph testing and everything was in the 6.5 to 7.0 rang so, unless I specifically have a...

    Open Show & Tell , Outdoors 2014

Nature is awesome. There's literally a piece of me that feels bad because I'm cutting down this lizards home soon. She has diligently stood watch night after night. On the bright side, she'll have more homes to choose from soon ;) I'll tell you though, I am noticing the decline and missing...
