    Open Show & Tell , Outdoors 2014

I sat frozen for about a half hour but could not get her, ... to land on her, . I have a huge monarch butterfly that dances around the plant teasing me with a Nat Geo worthy shot, as well. Where's the pollen when you need it?

    Alternatives to Fossil Fuels....?

Well, it is true. That's not an opinion. It's inefficient because they have kept it that way by design. Solar is the future of energy of the planet, that's a pretty large market.

Found what is eating my plants

Lizards are NOT eating your plant. They're one of your best predators. I would never say otherwise

How to Control Spotted Cucumber Beetles???

Lol. Hand vac is the tried and true. Sticky traps are good, too. Ravenous insects and there's nothing easy to get rid of them organically that I know of. Hay mulch around the base of plants keeps them from laying eggs near stems and will minimize damage at best. I delay my planting of...

update on ghetto ass growbox that I don't think is so ghetto anymore but you guys might

Well I didn't see your first post but, that before pic is pretty laughable (as I'm sure you now realize). Props for the ability to take the beating and still pick out what seemed like some good info. That second box looks a billion times better:clap:. Try adding the other fans to places...

Want to Know If Your Plants are Finished?

Cool. I thought so, thanks. The two front branches are the only ones with any significant new growth and they still have amber trichs. I may stagger and let them ride, haha. The two tops and 6 other colas look ready, though.

    A perfect cure every time

I don't understand why there is so much extracurricular activity on this thread. If you have a method of curing and it works for you, there's no need to read any of this info... or bash Simon for trying to help noobs. This curing method is proven and works if done properly. In fact, it is the...

    Organic, efficient, AWESOME bug repellent.

You're very welcome :D. I want to mention again, this will do nothing for bud worms or red spike caterpillars on my tomato plants, haha. I check on my plants multiple times, daily (I realize some don't have the time) and pick off by hand along with help from ants and other predators =) I...

Top Strategies For Protecing Your Organic Garden From Pests

NEW TO GROWING TELL ME WHAT YOU SEE

Aye. 13.5 hours is enough light to keep a plant in veg. If you start plants inside at 18/6 and move them outside to 13-14 hours of light in summer, they will still start to flower because it is a natural reaction to the decrease of exposure. The plant thinks the days are shortening. If you...
