Thanks. I used very little. About 3 teaspoons mixed in the soil a week before I dropped the bean in. Then, I literally sprinkle a tiny bit in the hole just to help with initial root growth. I always go less than the recommended dose (A TBSP. per gallon, I believe). Easier to supplement and...

    unknown bug help

Just a guess but, If they jump they could be springtails. They usually live in the top inch or so of soil. Usually organic. Check and see when you water, if they leap around the surface. Springtails are somewhat of a debate. They eat decaying organic matter and some say they don't really...

UPDATE (5/17) - Almost 7 days from last shots and man, she just keeps getting bigger/denser. Had a few days of cloudy, rainy weather and she loved it. Wk 7. Unless she speeds up, I'm going to guess 10 wks. Though some of the earlier buds may be good in a week or two.

haha, I dunno bout that. It's all the same...trim big..leave little (with trichs)...dry a few days...trim the rest, jar...burp...close. I just don't like guesswork. The only thing you would have to do different is throw a hygrometer in ur jar to see where your humidity is...if you want badass...

First grow! 4 weeks into flower. Pics included

Not at all, haha... I know plenty of peeps who don't use hygrometers and snap a stem and throw it in jars and burp by feel. ...I'm just a bit compulsive, lol. That's why I said there's definitely other methods, this just works for me. It's actually the same exact thing except I use a 8...

First grow! 4 weeks into flower. Pics included

I trim (not fully, just the big foliage) and hang in a dark closet. Leaving some leaves makes a slower dry. I keep a fan on low speed in there (pointing AWAY from the flowers) for circulation. The size of the flowers determines how long I hang for..3-5 days is an avg. When the stems are dry...

Best way is by checking trichomes and it's somewhat personal preference. You'll need a little pocket microscope..like 60 X's power. Depending on what smoke you prefer, you'll harvest when you have the right percentage of amber/cloudy trichs. There's a good thread on RIU about it. For me it...

Help! Fan leaves slowly consuming themselves...

Wha? Wait, MG organic with "NO nutes at all"?... I might be wrong but I don't think that can burn plants by itself like that. The plant is about 6 weeks old and looks like it's been flowering for 2 of them. I think it's starving. Has it been in the dark since seed?

    Problem caught early. Any solutions?

I mean you can finish it out in a 1 gallon but, you're more than likely going to have a pretty small plant. I don't know how to push out plants in the little containers like pictured above, sorry. There's probably a thread on it here somewhere, lol. Also, smaller containers mean a lot more...

    Problem caught early. Any solutions?

As shown by Fresno above, you can still maximize a plant with good care, even in a small pot. I have always used this method and it works for me. I have never even attempted less than a 3 gallon.
