Not really. And that is part of the problem regarding how the trichomes look to me. There are still so many white pistils. From what I've read (and please correct me if I am wrong), the trichomes are the "best" way to check, but there are other factors used to determine "ripeness". While the...

Question for the NE outdoor pros... I keep checking trichomes in different spots with a 60x-100x magnifier, and they look cloudy. Is it more likely that... A: My eyes are playing tricks on me?(because I don't know what I'm doing yet and it's my first grow) or B: They could actually be done...

Yea man. I've been reading everything I find. I'm at the stage now where every time I come outside they look fatter. Super exciting, and I don't even smoke. I just checked them and they are totally different then they were yesterday. Bigger, fatter, sparkly-er (not a word). Really are amazing...

Man, every 10 days huh? Mine are super thirsty. They are taking 1.5 gallons each approx every other day. Depending on weather conditions. The 10 day forecast looks great. I'm looking at around early October I think/hope.

Haha. I didn't notice that. The similarities will probably end with our harvests though. I am enjoying my first grow immensely, but I don't think I'll be getting an outcome like he got. Maybe on my next try.

Wow. What a sad idiot. Something tells me he will be taking his fake pictures from much further down on the Google image search next time.

This is the route I'm taking. I'm on my first grow now (outdoors in Massachusetts). Great advice!

The next 5 days look perfect, same as the last 2 or 3. Forecast says 4 days straight of showers starting on the 15th though...errrggghhh. They have been loving the last few days...finally starting to bulk up.

Looking at the 10 day forcast. It looks beautiful. All sun, except for a chance of rain on Wednesday. Maybe I'll end up with a decent harvest after all...

Growing up, my best friends mother would pray to the patron saints of "missing things", "lost causes", "sick pets", and a whole bunch of others I can't remember. The storm is an hour away... Is there a patron saint of "Jerry-rigged greenhouse integrity"?

I am the definition of "untrained eye", but those look super healthy and lush. Those are gonna be insane when they finish up.

My 2 fem white widow popped 6/2/17. Now they are around 30 inches. I wish we had today's weather all the time. It's gorgeous out. My guess is I'm looking at mid October. Should be interesting.

Its funny you say that. I'm not sure if it's usual, but yesterday I was bummed they weren't more frosty, then this morning I checked them and....sweet baby james. It looked like someone had dumped glitter all over them. Just overnight. These plants continue to amaze me...

The seedlings popped 6/2/17. From what I've read our first frost is early Oct. And it goes down hill quick from there for the temps. It's gonna be close I think. Evidently (according to the seller), they are only supposed to get around that tall anyway. So I think you are right.

Awesome. First time I've ever seen them grow in real life so I dont really know what "good" looks like. Glad to hear they look ok. I'm in Boston. They are around 30 inches tall right now. Both are fem white widows from ILGM. Weather has been tough in the home stretch.

Tried the tomatoes also. Didn't go so well. I live in MA and our laws just changed at the end of 2016 for growing at home. Now that it's legal everyone is growing.
