I would like to know if somebody on the forum is using Plant-Prod water soluble nute in hydroponic (DWC) application? I read hundred successful review of them used in soil, but only one post (can't find it anymore) about Plant-Prod being used in hydroponic sucessfully beacuse they contain...

Nobody ever use these fixture with the acrylic lense on?

I ordered this famous 7000K plantmax, from them and she was DOA... Apparently, Pulse Start bulb have this little reservoir inside the bulb and they are VERY sensible to shock. I'm not in USA and shipping/custom is expensive, thats why i'm looking for local alternative (aka 4000K closed ballast...

I still have another question... Open ballast bulb not available in my area, is it possible to buy an ''enclosed fixture bulb'' and use it with the acrylic lens? Will i lose to much lumen? My ''veg'' room is also my home office, and flying melting glass is not welcome there.

Well they are both Pulse start and E39 base.... Cant find Plantmax official website... Only online reseller, and they don't have any clue, or just ignore my email.

So i bought a low bay commercial 400Watt MH ballast for veg only for 40$. Then i bought a MH Bulb at the grow shop, thinking they are all the same, i bought the cheapest one. I was about to screw the bulb in, then i read the bulb box ''Not for use in pulse start ballast, or it WILL EXPLODE...

Why so much hate... Anyway, dude, ive tried vegging with 12x 23watt 3000K CFL and it sucked BIG TIME. After 2 month my plant didnt grow pass 8inch (northen light) with little immature yellow fan leaf. Then i found a thread about light kelvin, started over, ditched the 3000k CFL and bought 12x...

There is a heat pad underneath the tray keeping it at 20-21celciul (69.8Fahrenheit), the light is (2x) 23watt 6500k CFL at 12inch.. I have a DIY ballast with 12x 23watt, delivering 276watt of 6500K CFL that im using to veg, should i use it on my clone? Im worried about cooking them with too...

Well, its been 12days since i take the cutting and placed them directly in Jiffy pellet with Stim-Root, under CFL's... No sign of root, and they started yellowing... Should i start with new one?

Nope not at all, it was my plan to run a ballast on 240v for economical efficiency anyway. My plan is to grow only in the winter month so i can use the heat instead of throwing it outside If i got this straight ill be able to do 2 harvest, 6plant each time...
