How important is PH of soil and water???

You're taking shots in the dark by not testing. That's your prerogative but don't urge other people to be lazy with their plants dude. Why wouldn't you pH test? That's the opposite of scientific. Bad move. Bad advice. "I fucked 50 girls without a condom and I never got the clap it's fine!"...

To flush or not to flush

Lol, why do you say that?

To flush or not to flush

Not saying it doesn't, but you can definitely taste synthetic nutes on plants that got fed all the way up til harvest.

What the hell is going on

I wouldn't put any faith in "pH perfect" nutrients. You still have to pH your feed every time. If your water isn't pH perfect as well, you're going to need to make adjustments. Just get in the habit of pH'ing your feed AND your plain water when you're just watering. You're going in blind on a...

What the hell is going on

Just because your nutes are pH perfect, doesn't mean you shouldn't check pH. I've had water come out of the hose at 8.4. Always check pH bro. 28c is the upper limit of what's ok. How's your humidity?

What the hell is going on

I don't see any signs of overwatering there.

First grow. Are my plants okay?

The "yellowing" that you're seeing is just bright green new growth. That's a good thing! I live to constantly see bright green new growth on vegging plants. They look fine. Happy Frog is what I use as well, and it's pretty light on nutrients, but has a lot of awesome microbial life in it. I...

Cant figure out why leaves are curling?

It looks like you've got the Nitrogen "Claw" going on there. FFOF runs hot, and for that reason a lot of growers avoid it like the plague for young plants.

How important is PH of soil and water???

If you're going organic, pH isn't super crucial. For synthetic nutes though it's one of the most important things you need to stay on top of.

To flush or not to flush

Flushing the last 2 weeks is primarily for taste of the smoke. If you feed up til the end of harvest you'll get a way harsher smoke (more so with synthetic nutes)

Sprout/Shoots Growing Out All Over Buds

Yeah they're Revegging 100%. I would chop them down ASAP before the buds start growing all spindly. They're confused right now, and probably aren't going to do anything but the opposite of "chunk up".

Plants yellow and very tiny buds

I've never seen a deficiency alone brown out the sugar leaves like that. I'd put money on YA BURNT THE SHIT OUT OF EM! Flushing was a good idea, but you didn't say anything about pH'ing your feed...did I miss something?

    Need advice heat problem

They look good bro! Can you turn the AC on in the house?

I feel like this doesn't look good for 5 weeks into flowering?

Some girls take a while to chunk up. That first pic looks like the bud is growing really spindly. Make sure you're not giving them too much N. What are you feeding with?

What the hell is going on

Looks like a major P lockout to me.
  16. Maggs707

What the hell is going on

D Damn. Looks like you have a couple things going on. All of those yellow leaves is most definitely Nutrient lockout. Also looks like your temps might be too high and possible wind burn (leaf edges curling up). Crank up your exhaust and don't blow the fans directly on the plants. pH your feed...

    Ready or not

Still got some white hairs there. Let them go for another week at least!! Lay off the nutrients too you've got some moderate burn going on.

How can I tell when my flowers are ready to harvest

Those hairs look white still. That's a good indication that they're not ready. Grab a microscope and check the trichomes. When they start turning Amber you're in the harvest window.
  19. Maggs707

    Not sure when to harvest

I would grab a microscope and check the trichomes. When about half of them are amber you're pushing it. Time to chop. There shouldn't be any white hairs when they're ready.

3 weeks into my first grow...help!

pH fluctuation can cause black tips. It's not a symptom of overwatering that I'm aware of. Check your pH every time you water. That lower leaf that's yellowing would point to some type of deficiency/lockout as well. Maybe Phosphorous (just a guess). P gets locked out at a pH of 6 or lower.
