I live along a tributary to the Colorado river. All sources to this river are within 20 miles, our HOA's wells are all shallow wells in the river aquifer, my tap TDS generally runs 450 to 500ppm, and it has no cal. Maybe some of the powdered MB didn't get fully dissolved. I've always thought...

hey gr, you're probably correct on the lower leaf brown tips. The light green shows there is a slight deficiency of some sort, especially since it shows in new growth. I'd recommend to start with adding some cal-mag, the cal is very important in the uptake of many different nutrients. Since...

Because seedlings and clones do so well in soil I always start them in soil then transplant into hempy, It can simplify the grow. My current seeds started in soil 2qt soil veg (was rough playin' with organic hot soil) transplanted into perlite hempy with soil cap w/ 3tbls OC 14-14-14 on...

I assume you started in your seed in a coco hempy cup and the hubby started in a soil cup, and you just started to feed a couple of days ago.... The soil has the food for a seedling built in, the coco has nothing, that's why you're behind. should have started feeding within a wk of breaking...

    how far can pollen travel?

Pollen will travel as far as the wind will blow it. But I'm sure you have a hermie also, the odds of an outdoors grow flowering in Feb are very slim.

    switching to hempy. K.I.S.S. question

Great lookin' plants gr. I've never been able to fully commit to mainlining. I got a thing about bushy plants. I'll be hanging around to see the multi-headed girls grow up.

Thanks for the info Rusty. I did not know that silica pushed ph up. I used it one grow and adjusted my ph as usual (ph down to 6.0) but didn't check with the meter, because my tap water ph was consistent. My plants got thumped, I thought it was because I was adding to soil while I was in veg. So...

    My Mexican Ditch Weed

In an outdoors grow where this bag seed came from, the seed could have one of many different fathers,,, even from miles away. Could have been from the neighbors killer personal strain, you just never know. Might want to take a clone before it gets into heavy flower. If it turns out to be a boy...

    My Mexican Ditch Weed

Glad to see they've started to show sex. Thought you might have one of those strains that need to mature for 2 or 3 months before they even think about flowering. I did get to smoke a little mex this last weekend, a new taste is always nice and it did what it had to do, but I'm glad I don't...

    My Mexican Ditch Weed

I'd have to agree with your guess on the male/female, & the wide leaf with shorter node lengths is expressing something completely different, got my fingers crossed for a chick. I'm really impressed with the girth of the stocks in a 2L. I'm sure they will at least double in height. With the...

10 Week Old Indoor CFL Grow (first grow, opinions?)

Both are possible, but not an easy task. Cloning right now is very hard, the roots will set but getting back into veg is tougher than re-veg.

    My Mexican Ditch Weed

I'm guessing that Mexey seeds are mostly sativa, and normally grow in a near equatorial area, where there is never more than 14hrs/day of sunlight or less than 10. I once grew a Tia strain that took 50+ days of 12/12 to show sex and then only after dropping the hrs of light. I would drop your...

I really like your bottom plugs, there has been more than once that I had to support the plant while tipping the bucket to drain as much of the rez as I could. What are you using for stoppers? As far as draining every watering, I wouldn't be doing this myself, a well balanced bucket doesn't...

Plants In Trouble - Bloom Phase

If the 1st signs of yellowing was in the new growth then most likely its a micro nute problem. I'm thinking it's mag not potassium. Try adding 5ml/gal cal-mag, if this is the problem they will recover quickly. Best of luck.

simple DTW with osmocote+ and plain tap water

Very nice DIY. You can make it even easier. I've been using CRF's for several yrs now. OC+ is perfect for mothers and long veg periods. It will feed real well for a full 4 months and even longer. Now instead of the pouches, just blend it into the medium. For flowering I use OC 14-14-14, it has a...

Hempy Bucket Week4 Flower (NEED DOCTOR)

Lower leaf yellow is a lack of N & in your case its NPK, looks like a lockout coming to me. A 2gal hempy bucket during mid flower should never take more than 3days to completely suck up the rez. What is your source water like? Are you adding Cal-Mag? It seems to me that your girl isn't...
