1000 watts is good for a 4x4 area and maybe a few inches more. I wouldn't set it up for a 6 foot spread and expect any sort of light penetration. Growing 12/12 from clone, expect to get about 1/4 oz per plant (obviously depending on size of clones) to start, and work your way up from there...
