Well if it tastes green and brown.. then clearly you are. It's not the resin that tastes like plant.. it's plant. I'm talking microscopic fines, not large visible chunks to the eye. If it's been ground up and powderized, that's likely what's happening.

Try packing all the finer stuff in the top or middle of the tube.. keep it away from the end that it's coming out of.. that way it'll get (hopefully) caught up more and not come out freely into your dish.. i've had that issue before and it seemed to help. Haven't made oil in a long ass time but...
