im definitly gonna do the ebb and flow setup, should i pick up a cement mixing tub or should i grab an actual drain tray like http://www.bghydro.com/BGH/itemdesc.asp?ic=TR2X2AA&eq=&Tp= and as for getting the medium, should i just hit up a local gardening store

not yet still looking im down to try an ebb and flo system and my light is 22 by 23.75 so should i try and get a tray thats like 20x20 or something like that and then do i just plant them in pots above the tray?

running an ebb and flo system is it common to have the flood/drain component malfunction, and how reliable are the pump controlers. Also will continuously draining the water have salt building up on the roots or the growth media? and how is the effects of having the ph changed from drainage
