    Bridgelux EB Series Build

You can run 6 but its really close to the drivers minimum you might want to run 7 instead I dont think its overkill. I run 75w over a 2x4 and its 100-220par only 7 little strips at 350 is only 54w. For veg I would run all 11 - but you can add more later if its not enough.

What happens when you run less voltage to led?

If the current is at or below the maximum for that part of the curve it will work?

What happens when you run less voltage to led?

I meant to say, the typical vf of the led board is 46vf. So heres my next question. Using my example 46vf led- If I connect it to a constant voltage driver that puts out 56v, what will that do? What about connecting the 46vf led to a 30v constant voltage driver? I am trying to understand...

What happens when you run less voltage to led?

Hello. If I have an LED board rated for 46V but I run it at 44v is it bad for the LED or driver? Will the led try to pull 46v and stress the driver? Will it stress te LEDs? Thanks!

1- Series 2- Push in trap connectors like quantum boards or samsung strips. You need solid core 3- running at current specified above you dont need any heatsink If you are going to keep them that close we might want to check for a dimmable driver incase its too much. If you plan on getting 6...

    Bridgelux EB Series Build

Honestly I'm not sure yet. I think it might be too much power for the space - I might take it down to three strips and power it down to 500ma. I better figure it out before the pepper plants go in there.

Cheap build help! QB vero29 EB strips Samsung M strips

Here's comparing EB Strips and Samsung H strips. Things you can learn from this: If you need absolute cheapest startup cost, EBs win but will operate at 134lm/w If you plan on running EBs soft at 700ma (156lm/w) $350, you might be better to get Samsung H's and run them at max power 2.1A...

Ah, that makes sense. I was thinking the other way. I'm comparing output, not watts. I know already samsung is more efficient.
