Sounds like fungus gnats to me. Do they crawl around and fly around a bit when you water? If so then it's probably just gnats. The diatomaceous earth will get them under control for sure. You don't need a hydro shop, just a nursery / garden center. Shouldn't be too tough to find one close...

Nice little cabinet bro, but I seriously doubt those fans are going to help your temps much with a 400 in such a small space... They put out quite a bit of heat.

Don't worry about the soil pH, just make sure the water/nutrient pH is good and they'll be fine. This is the one I use, calibration is a push of a button, it is waterproof and it floats... Great for those unexpected accidents :) Oakton ECO Testr pH2... Cost me $60 or so, but it will last...

Do you have a pH meter Weedy? The MG tomato nutes are probably fine (not the best thing to give cannabis though) but you really need to be making sure the pH is correct. If you're about to buy a 400 I'd say spend $60 more bucks and get yourself a decent digital pH pen and some pH up & pH down...
