I know the ideal ph differs from hydro to soiless to soil but what about strain? Do different strains like different ph's? Because I swear my autos perfer 6.6 while my nl's seem to favor 5.8 in my promix. Could be wrong about that though.

My meter is good for sure. tap water ph is 7.25 -6.2 after adding 1 tsp of tiger bloom and .5 tsp of grow big. I filled up 2 gallon jugs and both took 38 drops of general hydro ph up to get to 6.6.

I have a good meter and its calibrated. My tap water is reading what it usually does. I think the issue is that im using so much nutes coupled with my water being a little hard. I have some cheap testers laying around somewhere. Might try those jic.
