I switched to 12/12 after 25 days of vegging (a couple weeks 24/0, a week 20/4, then a few days 18/6), when my plant was this size: I had fimmed it after the 3rd node, then taken the bottom 2 branches as clones, which is why it's so branchy-looking there. Cheers!

Looking great! What's the sativa/indica ratio for that strain? I'm doing a similar scrog with a 90% sativa, and switched to 12/12 when it was about the same size as yours. It easily filled my screen. Right now i have about 300w of cfls, so we're doing very similar things, man.

That plant looks sativa dom to me, despite the small stature. The real test will be how long it flowers before the trichs get cloudy then amber. Don't pull her too soon! Sativas can easily flower 12-15 weeks.

What was your final dried weight, or did you not weigh it? That really does look like a beauty of a sativa, btw.

Thanks! Those are great shots for a point-and-shoot camera. My only tip is to make sure you're on "macro" setting and taking at the highest resolution in your settings, and then you can crop the photos a lot and still have a high-quality photo (that looks like it's a closer shot).

It'll be 4 days this time, then I'll be leaving them for 6 days in a couple weeks. I was just worried that if i raise it 6" I'll just be encouraging more stretch, which I'm trying to minimize since this is a CFL grow. But I guess that's better than burning a major cola in the middle of flowering.

got a journal? if not, start one and I'll happily sub! growth will depend on lots of other factors too, like what soil you're using and how often you're watering. The less you water the better, at least to a point. You want to let ithe soil get dry, like parched in the desert dry, between watering.

Sad to hear about losing a top, but that early in 12/12 there's plenty of time for it to recover. Might even help make it bushier and spread out into the screen more!
