I fell asleep during the premiere of Apocalypse Now. All I'd heard was how great this movie was and I was really excited to see it. It had some good scenes, but overall the movie just drags on and on and on and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

You can buy a decent Canon or Nikon for under $500. I have a Cannon EOS 3Ti that I caught on sale at Newegg last Christmas for a little under $500. It's much more camera than I will ever be able to use, but it takes awesome pics. Be forewarned, you'll easily spend as much or more than the cost...
