So...I guess by adding 3 more CFL's the average temperature in my grow room is about 94 degrees. That sucks. So now I have to keep the door to my closet open while the lights are on. Which also means I have to adjust the light schedule so that I am personally at home to close the closet door...

I know it is quite early for me to try and flower but I dunno....I'm not worried about it. This is my first personal grow and I want to keep it small.

Most people dont realize how hot CFL's get. In an enclosed space....the heat that a few CFL lights put off is small at first...but as no air is ventilated it starts getting hotter and hotter. I have 10 CFL's in my closet which climbs to 90 degrees during the day. Just have a couple of fans...

If you are pressed for height then you might want to start flowering pretty soon. I love those subway cups lol. Also...you might want to transplant them first. Your going to need a lot more room for roots for good growth.

heres my suggestion that has been made to others as well. get as many darn CFL's as you feel like buying, the more the merrier. Right now I was 5 26W CFL's on one plant and 2 42W and 2 26W on my other plant. Once flowering comes I plan on almost doubling that light. And my plants are only 6...

If you need to oknow when to water....here is what I have been doing. Keep your grow room a little warmer than usual. Eventually, you will notice that the very outer edges of your plants leaves curl up a little bit and if you shine a light right on them....the outer edges will look dried out...

23 days old? It looks like they could be a little bigger. How much light do you have on em? Also...you camera pics are WAY out of focus. Might wanna fix that so the pics are clearer. They look good though.

easiest way to get rid of flies? squish em! the tip of your thumb does well. fresh air flow too lol But spend time examining your plants and really take the time to get ALL the bugs. Kill em all. Thats what I do.

Don't let cigarette smoke in your grow room! Imagine if someone came and covered your whole body with tar! Every inch. And taped your mouth and nose shut too. Would you still be alive? And yes....Vent in AND out. Get rid of the old air and bring new air in.

Also....I have a quick question. So far I have about 130W of CFL's covering each plants leaves. I plan on adding 4 more 42W CFL's with reflectors like the one shown for flowering. Will this be enough for them? I wanna make sure the kids grow up big and strong. Puberty is a rough time.

I wouldnt ever say that. Those things dont even relate. Growing and getting marijuana for use are on two different spectrums. That'd be like comparing being a "customer" to a person who grows tomatoes. When you grow for fun and personal use your are potentially your own customer.
