t5s produce only a little more light than t8s and cost more than double! t8s can be used in t12 fixtures without any problems and work great!! i have never used t5s, but have had great veg results with only t-8 florescents!

hey skunkushbird, yes, i have 10 clones vegging from those plants, id like to make 1-2 of them into mothers, so im going to keep them in veg till i see which plants produced the best buds.. and then flower the rest of the clones I am also purchasing some seeds from a local breeder in the next...

i did the complete opposite, put a plant in a rockwool drip system into a pot of earth, i put the whole 3x3 block into the pot at 2 weeks flowering, and its doing great !

depending how close you are to canada you could come pick up seeds at a seed bank and take em out of their package and bring them home !

haha my girlfriend feels the same way, she says i spend more time with my girls than with her, she wants me to cut em down already and smoke em, haha!

yah you would definetly want to lower that to around 6-6.5, try using lemon juice at first, instead of buying ph down!

when my seedlings sprouted, they barely went 10 minutes without me checking on them, now ive gotten a bit better, their lucky if they get more than 12 hours peace and quiet, lol

have you jailbroken your iphone yet? theres lots of third party applications that you can use!! about the plants, im just finishing up my first grow, and during veg i had allot of different problems, ph, hard water, etc resulting in allot of yellowing/spotting leaves and dying leaves...

it shouldnt be too big of a problem, when i germed my seeds i had 1 that had a white leaf... also, i also take pics with my iphone, if you want to have bigger pics, use the cable to upload them onto the computer ! good luck with the plants :blsmoke:

i dont think they are looking for a little 1000 watt lamp, it would look just like a space heater or something on the heat cameras, i think they are looking more for big ops like the heat of 10 lamps and 1000 plants

but a plant grown indoors only knows the daylight cycle you make for it, for example 24 hour light during veg is also messing with its daylight cycle, but lots of people still do it without any problems! i was thinking the 10/10 would flower faster, and not yeild less like doing 13/11 or something

veg you want a bit more humidity(50-60% is ok) and flowering you want it lower around 35-45 %

if i were to flower my plants with 10 hours light, then 10 hours dark, instead of the usual 12/12. therefore making each day 4 hours shorter, would my plants flower faster? I know i would need a special timer that doesnt function on a 24 hour clock, and also the times i could visit my plants...

I ask because i bought a used lamp with bulb that was used before, i was wondering hopw important it is i change the bulb!

if i flower my plants 10 hours lights on 10 hours off, thereby making a 20 hour day instead of 24, would my plant flower faster? i know i would need a special timer to do this.... but this could possibly shave 2-3 weeks of flowering time? anyone ever tried it or have any idead about this?

it appears to be a female, but you cant be certain until you cleary see the pistils or balls! start flowering and within 1-2 weeks youll see female or males, and then you can put the screen in place!
