bump I don't want to burn my house down

I was going to have one plug that powered all the lights plugged into a timer which is plugged into a power strip. the only other thing plugged into the power strip with the fans (2 20mm pc fans) the the plug from the power strip will come out of the intake holes to plug into the wall

What kind of wire should i use to tie all these lights together? and plug them into my power strip?

I added up roughly: 60 watts per light. at 14 lights (five on each long side two on each short side)= 840 watts 24 watts per fan. at 2 fans = 50 watts 840+50= 890 So i should be good right? other stuff in my room is my laptop charger, a lamp, a tv (that's never on) and a clock would that work?
