alot of responses, (mostly arguing ), but thanks for the responses. in my honest opinion, humidity domes are wack. a homemade clone machine is 10 times bettter. 100% all the time, No need to keep them moist or worry about anything. very cheap to make also.

i can easily put my 250w hps 5inches away with no problem maybe...the prices for cool tubes are rediculous. i bought a candle cover and zip tied it on, works great. so according to the charts i have been seeing, the closer u can get hte plant the better and bigger nug right?

Is putting the plant as close to the light as possible(without overheating top colas) best during the flowering stage? wouldnt it give it more lumens to feed off of?

im gonna start doing my sleep time for 12hours and 15min.....this would be fine, sense you guys said i can prolong the sleep time if i want?

o wait....im getting confused, i turned OFF (not on) my light 15min early. so i didnt cut into the sleep time...sorry my fault

if u cut the 12hr flower time by 15min would this have any affect on the flowering process. im 3 weeks into flower and i accidently turned off my light 15min before a full 12hrs.

right on racerboy, yea i read about that on a forum, not sure if it was this one or not. So far i have had no problems. I used to run my lights on during the day, until i realized and asked myself why ami doing this , when simply i can run my lights during the night. Which means i dont hit 100F...

well hopefully everything will be alright, cause i let the light go back on for an additional hour, then i turned it off at normal time 9am.... Next time i will just keep the light off when this happens.

are u talking from experience? have you personally been through this? or are u just making a nub comment to sound educated on growing? also, i have read that having the sleep time being hotter than the light on time will cause hermes and mess up flower. I run my lights off during the day so yes...

my power went out for 3 hours at 5am until 8am... i run my lights 9pm-9am(12/12). Would it be better to leave the light off until the next night at 9pm, or should i kick the light back on for an additional hour , then turn it back off and keep it on track?

im just guessing, but im gonna guess your watering it too much, u wanna let the soil dry out and the plant start to dehydrate, then give it some h20(and nutes if u have), i been using fox farm grow big and tiger bloom. so far under veg, this 14 dollar bottle of grow big has been working great.
