Hey Fellas.. i am looking for good nutes and the growing guide that goes with it. I have seen Hesi but i dont want to have to order it over the net. Any good ideas... i dont even care if it is a home made plan and nutes... just a guide to follow. I think I locked up my other plant or killed it...

Thanks Joe! Per your earlier response.. i went and got some insect soap, and it seems to work well. I have done two sprays and I nolonger see the lil bastards running around anymore.. just dead Aphid carcasses. Ill keep you up to date but i think my aphid problems are over (I HOPE)

Why is it bad if there is a spike in the power? I have battery backups running, line conditioners etc. Is there something I should be aware of? :-? :confused:

Thats the point, i dont want to do that to the light. I want to run it on battery power until the power comes back on. But to answer your question directly, I dont think it will hurt the bulb but then again this is the first setup so i will keep you all informed if there is any damage done to...

yes, we have power problems here for many reasons. I would hate to lose my grow due to a power outage or have a spike come through the line and blow the ballast or lights. So I use them to condition the power coming in to my grow room and provide temporary power while we have any power problems..
