There are yellow or purple leafs all over it just seems the leafs appear greener that have been shadowed that are lower. Damn why can't I upload pics haha.

Yup makes sense. My only concern with the mini split is that the exhaust fan sucking out and the fresh air coming in would remove the cool air faster than the AC could cool the room.
