I use a 3 part base nutrient. Usually around week 4 or 5 I start to lower my grow and add a little more bloom. Should I keep using the equal amounts of grow micro and Bloom till the end? Would that lead to greener leaves for a longer period?

Why did you remove all the big fan leaves? Clean your room up a little. Your trays are filled with dead dry leaves and dirt. I'd say they are stressed from whatever method of defoliation you were using.

I'm thinking about trying DWC. I'm currently a promix grower. Have been for years with good luck. What are the pros and cons of DWC compared to promix?

So how often does this meter need to be calibrated? Do you need to store the probe in a solution when not in use?

Truthfully I'd refill the cap once every few days so it could have definitely dried out. It died in the summer months when it was hot out. Im just thinking a higher end ph tester would be more hardy and require less calibration and maintenance. It seemed like I had to calibrate it every 15-20 days.

First one lasted me like 6 months. Then the next one was like over a year. Then the third one won't calibrate right now and been almost 2 years.

Everyone saying I start the count when I see pistols. Well I see pistols sometimes before I flip to 1212. I always count from the day turned to 1212. If you are running seeds or different strains some may show pistols sooner than others even though they have all been on 1212 for 6 days.

To me perfect is mid 70s during lights on and mid 60s light off. That's just me I don't run co2. A small heater would fix your problem.

So I've always wondered. Once you take down a batch and jar your 2.5 ozs. What are you supposed to do with the left over buds? Throw them in the trash? Give them away?
