    If you are using neoprene disks to cover the holes than you shouldn't have any water on the top Did you use a hole saw to make the holes or did you do it free hand with an exacto knife or something?

    salvaging a PC grow, back to tube growing

    Lol I am sorry man but you are right you don't know haha Yellowing leaves are from the plant taking the nitrogen in the leaves to make buds. A shot of veg nutes would green things up good If you feed your plants properly they will have green leaves all the way to harvest

    250 Blue Cfl //// 150 HPS - single fem'd SLH

    You are going to have less than 4000 more lumens during flower if you only use the HPS... not much of a difference at all It is the same as you adding a 42w CFL to your 250w CFL... I would use both the 250w CFL and the 150w HPS during flower

    i need help making a DWC.

    It isn't that you prefer to wash the hydroton, you HAVE to. There will be so much crap washed into your rez and it will ruin your pH The kits do not work if you use nutrients that change the color of the water. There is nothing more reliable than a good pH meter How do you expect to get an...

    FuZZyBuDz takes a D.W.C. dip, first hydro grow! {of course theres piks}

    As the plant gets older you are going to have to up the nutes, making the pH higher or lower depending on your nutes As the plants eat the nutes in the rez the pH will shift due to there being less food and more water I mean you probably could make it flower without one, but I wouldn't suggest...

    i need help making a DWC.

    You need a pH meter, calibration solution, and pH up and down. Those are the most important things in a hydro grow. Here is a good link showing how to build a DWC: https://www.rollitup.org/do-yourself/97378-diy-3-gallon-rubbermaid-dwc.html I would not even make the system without having a pH...

    FuZZyBuDz takes a D.W.C. dip, first hydro grow! {of course theres piks}

    Digital pH meters are the most reliable way to test the pH, you probably did not calibrate often enough. That GH pH test kit is useless if you are using nutes that change the color of the water. How do you expect to have an accurate color reading when the nute mix is not clear? That pH test...
