When I used to ph my tap water it at current house it was usually just under 7. At old house it was around 6. Made no difference.. use good soil with ph buffers like dolomite lime and that water going in isn’t going to change the ph for a long time. It’ll adjust to the soils ph.

She’s stretching for light and you didn’t plant the seed deep enough. Drop light down a bit and maybe add just a little soil to help support it..no more than a quarter inch of soil and don’t keep it too wet too long. Youngins that age are primed for damping off when buried deeper.

I wouldn’t call that clawing. Looks thirsty. Sticking your finger in soil and feeling moisture means nothing. Maybe you didn’t wAter it enough. Sure it’ll be moist to touch but how deep did you water? Looks thirsty

Ehhh..not a fan of it. I do everything cold. 30 second wash is much less potent and less flavorful than a very quick wash 5 seconds max. To each their own though

i just put em in solo cups of water, changing water every day. They don’t wilt or get funny but take a few weeks to get roots. I get over 90% success in temps ranging from low 70s to mid 80s
