If growing in a medium with no nutrients whatsoever it isn't early at all I give my seedlings 1/4 strength nutes the day they sprout and they never get burnt Plants need nutes to grow, if they only had water than they would get deficient very quickly

i am using my setup to point out lights so that you can see what i am talking about, helping you to get bigger better plants, pictures are helpful, and if you only use LED's you wont grow alot if anything at all... So i am trying to help people get more bud for less money is that a problem ?

Why must you go to so many threads and talk about your grow? If you made a journal that is where you talk about your grow, not in every thread you decide to post in And you posted more pics in a thread that is not yours!!!!

Looking great SL2, don't mind that guy posting pics of his setup I have seen him post those pics in at least three other threads No one is looking at his setup make small LED buds so he goes to threads where people are making huge HID buds, as you are, trying to get more views in his thread

Stelthy why are you posting so many pics in this thread? I don't think that the OP would appreciate it, this thread is about 600w of LED vs. 600w of HPS not just any old LED setup If you want to get more views in your thread than just bump it up, don't go hijacking peoples threads

Using a 400gph pump and only 4 360° misters is probably not the best idea, you should have more than only 4 I highly doubt they are rated for 100gph each

Actually hydroponic systems require much less maintenance than a soil grow, I can go an entire week without doing anything but raise the lights

All you need is a pH meter, some calibration solution, and pH up and down You could get all that for less than $50 if you looked hard enough

Were these tests done on the same strain? All the clones from the exact same mother for each test I take it? If not than your tests don't really mean anything at all...

What do you need black tape for? Lightproofing your rez? If so I would suggest using a metal repair tape as it is lightproof and really shiny. Black will absorb light thus making the rez warmer, the shiny tape will reflect the light back keeping the rez much cooler Here is a link...
