HID is the type of lighting i forget whats it stands for sorry. But for HPS that stands for high pressure sodium wich is the type of bulb you will be using in your HID light. HPS just stands for the type of bulb like MH. You will be buying a 1000Watt HID system with a 1000Watt Hps Bulb...Get...

you could always LST ( Low Stress Train) It. Just get some rash ties or rope, then tie it to the branches u want to be "shorter" bend them a lil ways over and tie. It will help with ur space issue and promote new undergrowth.

If you are gonna go with the whole system i would upgrade to Dual Spec II lights. They are big but they do the job. You are gonna need to add more lights thoe and thats where the 42w come in. Keep the 85watters up top above the plants and put mad 42watters around the sides. It easy as that.

All i can say is wow. I just got my 600watt HPS in the mail and man is she a beauty. I got it all set-up and ready to go i turned it on for under a minute to see how she looks...i cant wait till 2am when it comes on. I will post pics at 2am Eastern Time. Hope you guys can wait.

So today i went down before lights off and found and confirmed 3 females so far out of 5 plants. Two of the girls are the ones i topped and the other is the biggest one in the tank. I am stoked on that. The other two haven't shown sex yet but it will be soon. I am just glad to have 3 right now...
