Not necessarily. But, the veg stage is designed for growth, not budding. If you planning on putting the plant into flowering early (12/12), do not expect a lot of "stash". Leaving in veg longer will only promote a better turnout, however there are a few strains that react negatively when veg'ing...

I believe the rule of thumb is, 1 gallon per 1' of growth. 2 gallon pots seem to be difficult to find most of the time, so go with a 3 gallon for predicted growth room.....

I'm not entirely sure on this, but isn't flowering stage 2x longer than veg stage? I think it's 8 weeks total? You may be able to get some return 2 weeks from now, but do not expect the max results. As far as speeding it up.... no idea =P

I actually looked for the Fox Farm soil at Lowes and Wal-Mart but they did not carry it. Where would be a good place to buy it?

I have some bigger pots ready, but the pots I bought should be big enough for now since the plant is still young. I went ahead and flushed the plant as bakeddude suggested, but if these issues continue, I'll move it to the bigger pot.
