Thanks del, in all honesty....i had no intention of upgrading, i dont really have money to lash out on it at the moment, recession and all!! Its only that i was given the hps free and if its worth upgrading i've done it without any outlay.

Hi all, I have a query that i'd like some experienced opinions on if i may? Im currently running a small cab grow using cfls......all is well. I have more space available to me than im currently using, and i have also been very fortunate to have been given a 400w hps with reflector and ballast...

Ahh right i gotcha, cheers FT.....my girls are coming along nicely....and my wife produced a little girl in the early hours of saturday morning (hence the gap in my reading!) So now i have lots of little girls to look after!!!!

Thanks FT, im still concerned about the temps so given that you've adjusted your lighting distance (and got away with it!) i think i'll pull mine back a touch. Oh and these are my girls......bless them!!

FT, quick question....how far away from your plants do you have your lights? And at what point did you move them as close as they are?

Hi all, Nice pics this morning FT your ladies are looking good! Just thought i'd chime in with a few observations from my girls.... a) I was trying to work out exactly how far behind you i am.....i couldn't. No journal or calender or record of any kind, and damn i wish i had!!! So i'd like to...

Its not the posting of pics thats the issue....it's how do i get them from my phone onto the computer?? lame i know.....but there you go!

Alas no journal for me....as im struggling to get pics sorted. and also my wife is due to give birth on sunday so im unlikely to have a lot of spare time!! Just hope i can keep my girls alive......
