    Funny Smelling Buds

Its kind of messed up because they even check for mites and mold etc. Dude is definitely a hippie pothead but that's his job.. But I'm the dummy for not smelling it I guess. Right now I'm trying to find a way to get the odor out. I think charcoal bags may work. They pull Smokey smells out of...

    Funny Smelling Buds

Just got a deal on some meds... or so I thought. I looked at em, felt the buds and even smoked a joint. But forgot to smell em. Anyways they smell smokey and my friend said he thinks the guy had stuff from a house that caught on fire. Is there anyway to fix the smell? The bud is apparently...

I'm putting them in jars.. so I guess I will see more once I burp them Are you guys talking about checking the buds themselves or checking the rh inside the curing jars? I'm sort of confused because I do have a hygrometer but not for inside my jars. My room is at 20%...

My buds are hanging. I didn't get a very good trim before I hung them. Mostly anything protruding from the buds but there are still a lot of sugar leaves on them Anyways my question is when do these suckers go in jars? Its really dry in the closet. 20% rh. The buds feel extremely crispy on the...

    Intake fan for light cooling

I'm just getting everything on paper ATM. I've got the hoods but I'm moving into a new house and I still need to build the room and run electrical etc The mini split is 18/6. I was planning on using the 18k in the bloom room. I went with a co2 cylinder. I don't like the idea of more heavy...

    Intake fan for light cooling

I'll run two. I do plan on using good Insulated ducting along with 8" hoods. Is 600ish cfm sound about right for cooling 3 hoods? I am using a 24000 btu mini split. Two zone. But I don't want heat build up in my lights or room as I also have an industrial dehu that gives off heat. Like someone...

Vault Genetic seeds - Swerve the master geneticist ??

I've been reading a lot about people buying seeds and ending up with hemies. What's the deal? I'd like to order seeds so I can select a variety of strains but that seems like a waste of $$ Better off working from clones it seems?

Newbie; my setup, seeking advice (HVAC help needed)

After re-reading I think I understand what you mean and yes it will work. Leave one side of the light open without ducting. Run ducting to your filter and have an exhaust fan pulling the air out into the room

You only need one fan (exhaust) and one carbon filter. Google grow tent ventilation and possibly just look at images to get an example. If it fits inside your tent you can put it inside or you could put it outside if it doesn't. Sorry if I didn't answer all your questions. Currently working but...

Ventilate at night & Sealed during the day

I'm gonna be running Co2 when the lights are on. Exhausting with the lights on will just waste my Co2 enriched environment. Basically its not to control temps. Its to bring fresh air into the grow space. A lot of people use a sealed room with Co2 but does any ventilate at night?

Ventilate at night & Sealed during the day

You did not contribute to my thread whatsoever. I am not building a house. I'm building a room. I have researched the cost of everything from head to toe. From upgrading the electrical to running the electricity to the rooms. This is a 8k watt setup in a 10x30 room Now back to the question at...

Newbie; my setup, seeking advice (HVAC help needed)

You have a few options. Run the vent to the ceiling as long as your attic is properly ventilated. You don't want heat build up. My suggestion would be to vent back into room and use a ac unit to control the temp of the air going back into the tent. This is an easy approach with a lot less work...

Ventilate at night & Sealed during the day

I'm building a room in the basement of my new home. With proper flooring, wall, ac/heat, insulation etc. I will be utilizing Co2 of some kind whether its a tank or a burner. What do you guys think of having ventilation with a carbon filter running at night when the lights and co2 shut off...

    Security Measures (protecting your investment)

Haha get a lion Honestly man you have to have dogs. You can build security systems and all. But nothing is as scary as loud barking dogs when your trying to break through that security. Oh and the fear of having your head blown off. So the NRA stickers and dog/trespassing warning signs are to...

My Electrical Setup In Basement Room

For example, no way I'm paying $100 a bulb. Not even at the grow shop on the corner. There may be one bulb that price in the whole store. Check it out http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000OC4BJA
