I am off to relocate the filter or maybe just straighten the ducting out. I really want to leave the filter where it is as it's higher up the room than it would be if I put it inline with the fan. I am also going to pot my babies up into their last pot.

I am using a 600, have a oscillating fan. Maybe Iam just being a little over cautious as I can only see that the filter actually hinders the air flow. But then again, all I have been using for the last few years is a 4inch inline extractor so the bigger fan must compensate for that :)

Het Bamm Bamm, as you know this is my first time grow using the filter and this rvk fan, is this set up still ample enough to remove the heat from my room, I have a 4in fan pulling air in from the bottom of the room also ? cheers

Hey Bamm Bamm, will be watching this thread closely as I intend to try a SOG next time round, I just have 5 hindu kush in at the moment in a grow area of 4ft x 4ft and 6 ft high.Also have a bit of room, about 4 ft in front of the grow area for repotting and stuff.

thanks bamm bamm, I may even move the filter directly inline with the fan, it just about fits along side of it.

Does the white foamy cover have to be in place as it shows in my pic, or do I remove that ??? getting paranoid now incase I am putting the extractor under duress :(

Aha, have searched a few sites and realise that the fan is connected directly to the filter and then the ducting goes on the back end of the fan. So the air is actually sucked through the filter not through the fan then the filter. well, hope I am right :)
