i have heard some people say to start in smaller containers then tranfer. putting in big pot off top can shock it. had one die in a 3 gallon pot..i did the water papertowl into a plug. i usually do a cup at 1st then tranfer to build roots. played myself but i learned.

i dont think so, i did recalibrate my ph meter was off by .2, i usually do 6.0 to 6.1ph every 2 to 3 days i water, i pick up the pots to feel them out so as not to over water
