are you using that inline fan as an exhaust or intake? Having a strong active exhaust constantly running will keep your temperatures and humidity at a more nominal range. However, if your in a humid area a dehumidifier is your best bet unless you can somehow channel less humid air from somewhere...

its hard to get a good picture of it, but there are nodes on the otherside of the stem as well at the same level.
