What does cold stress look like?

^ I noticed that, with the appearance of the first signs of problems, the plant stopped to smell-up the whole house. It used to stink-up all rooms with its garlic-like smell. And then all of a sudden it wasn't smelly anymore. Of course, the buds still have a smell but it is not as strong as it...

What does cold stress look like?

I expected the plant to turn purple too, but it never did. I guess some strains don't get purple, no matter what. As for freezing completely, I'm not 100% sure that it froze. The grow box is covered with a thick floor carpet and I assume this keeps the warm air in and keeps the inside...

What does cold stress look like?

Hmm, that's actually good news. I prefer the frozen plant theory over the bud rot theory. Now, at one point I did overnute the plant and fed it a 3X dose of nutes, but it was doing fine for a month and I'm wondering if overnuting shows its symptoms a month later (if we accept that overnuting...

What does cold stress look like?

Isn't powdery mildew supposed to leave white-ish spots all over the plant? Because the plant did not show any white spots, just drying off of the leaves and then softening of the buds. Like I said, the buds looked like frozen broccoli that has been brought back to room temperature - totally soft...

What does cold stress look like?

Hi people, my question is: What symptoms does low temperature cause in a flowering cannabis plant? A few hours ago I had a plant flowering in a box on a balcony - it was in its 7-th week of flowering and the nugs were on the fluffy side but still cool. Apparently, it's winter time and needless...

Looking for Marijuana medicine that doesn't have side effects

@quietguy420, what strains do you stay away from, and what strains have you found out to be safe to smoke?

Looking for Marijuana medicine that doesn't have side effects

The last time I smoked (and got a serious case of the racing heart problem), I was told that the strain was an Indica. But maybe there was a mistake and it was a Sativa, who knows... Funny thing is that right now I am growing a Sativa. I stole a clone from somebody's guerilla garden and it...

Looking for Marijuana medicine that doesn't have side effects

^ I know the theory. I am looking for practical advice from people who experience the same problem. For example: a guy gets a racing heart every time he smokes weed, no matter if it is a Sativa or an Indica, but wow! all of a sudden he discovers a miracle strain that doesn't cause a racing...

Looking for Marijuana medicine that doesn't have side effects

Hi, I want to use marijuana for medical purposes and I am growing a plant right now. My problem is that every time I smoke weed, I get a very unpleasant sort of feeling. It is not paranoia or mental anxiety. It it's more of a physical thing - my thoughts and perceptions remain pretty much...

My clone from a flowering plant

Makes sense, thanks. I'll soon add more CFL lights and will start LST-ing the girl. I'd like to post some photos of my clone here, but I'm still kind of hesitant. Is it safe to post photos on this board?

My clone from a flowering plant

I can't yet take photos because the white hairs that the clone is shooting out of its nodes are still very tiny. Are you sure that all plants have pistils at the nodes even while vegging? That's kinda weird... I thought plants show their sex after at least one week of 12/12. Mine is under 24/0...

My clone from a flowering plant

I am using one 34 Watt CFL light (cold light - 6400K). The cycle is 24/0. The light is hanging at about 3 inches from the top of the clone. Do you think that this light is the reason why my clone keeps popping flowers even on its new shoots?

My clone from a flowering plant

The clone is still flowering as it is re-vegging. The nodes on the new shoots are growing pistils and calyxes. Is this normal? I thought the clone would stop flowering as soon as it enters the revegetation stage. I don't think that it's an awtoflowering strain.

Single-bladed leaves - will the plant keep producing them?

Is it normal for the new shoots to be flowering? Will they stop popping new calyxes and go back to 100% vegetation?

Single-bladed leaves - will the plant keep producing them?

Alright, my small clone that I took from a flowering plant seems to have finally started to re-veg itself. It has now grown e few tiny new shoots and like 6 or 7 new leaves. Thing is that the new leaves are all single-bladed or two-bladed, which I read is normal for a clone that comes from a...

    Hempy bucket alternative medium

^ I would do that, but maintaining the salts and the pH of a real hydro system is difficult for a beginner like myself and it's also time consuming (the equipment is way too expensive for my budget too). This is why I want to go Hempy, but I can't find any of the proven mediums for that kind of...

    Hempy bucket alternative medium

Hi people, this may sound weird to you but I don't have access to perlite, vermiculite, clay pellets or coco. They are no where to be found where I live and I can't order them online too. What can I use to substitute these mediums with for a Hempy Bucket grow? Will marbles from sand work? I do...

My clone from a flowering plant

Yeah, hydro is definitely some pro stuff that some of us may find hard to maintain. I guess it all comes down to a person's willingness to play around with it. By the way, my clone looks like it is growing some new little pairs of leaves. The white pistils on the bud are growing too, it seems...
