Hello, I am getting a new setup in a couple hours and im having second thoughts on the lighting. The tent im getting is a GL80 and the dimensions are 2'7x2'7x5'11feet tall. There are 2 lights that i can't choose between, a 250w hps/mh aircooled hood, or a 400w built in ballast, it isnt sealed...

My lights are about 4.5 inches from the top of the plants, and i have a fan blowing above the plants and below the light to blow the heat away. How often do you think i should water it?

Can anyone help me? Im thinking its a N deficiency from what ive read, but im not too sure...should i start using 1/4 strength nutes?

It would have been easier to put them into those plastic party cups(not the clear ones)with a bunch of holes poked in the bottom, 1 plant per cup. Now you should start adding alot of Daylight cfl's and keep the lights like 4 inches from your plants, with a fan blowing right above the plants and...

What about summer? do you think i would still be able to grow during summer with the 400w? I keep my house at about 77F during summer but i am going to be getting some inline fans so im not sure...and thanks for all the help so far man haha +rep

Well I was only trying to spend like 200 maybe 250 at most on lighting..its just a small space for personal supply...so far the 150w i bought was 80$ for everything, came with a built in ballast.
