This is one of the most interesting thread I have read. I am growing in a 9x12x8 with 1 400 wt conversion hps 1 1000 wt hps and 40 23 wt cfls and was thinking of replacing the cfls with another 1000 wt hps but now I am rethinking that. Thanks please keep us posted

Can anyone tell me the right amount to foiler feed a day for the best results. I know this is not the best way to get nutes to the plant but because of reasons to long to go into I belive it is the only way to save this plant. The plant is in its 4 week of flower. Thanks in advance.

right now I am using a 1000wt hps and 30 of the 26wt in a 4x7 area i also have a 400wt mh that Iam not using at the moment I thought I might replace the 26 wt with it although it is mh and I am 3 weeks into flowering. Would that be any good or no because of the blue spectrum.

thanks so a 400wt hps is equivlent to approximatly 52 1000 lumens lamps so it is then also less expensive to run the 400hps

Because it would seem that you are getting 1600 wts compared to 400 but I know thats not all their is to it.

That is because of the different spectrum or what

If you are using 16 26wt cfls that are suppose to put out 100wts each light bulb 1000 lums per light bulb 2700k total 1600 wts. but you are only using paying for 416wt. which would be better a 400 wt hps or the 16 bulbs. I am sure this was answered but to make it simple for a country boy.

Can anyone tell me why the leaves on plants feel dry? It is only 1 plant out of 7 the lights are not to close dwc 1000 ppm 6.5 ph temp 75 water temp 65. I have read sick plant threads and cant find an answer for this one. THANKS

I just bought 2 100w 6500k lights at walmart for $7.00 the kind that use 26w I dont know if it is the same thing this is what they look like. I use them and they seem to work just fine. Someone else may know better. For whats it worth
