root rot is when your roots rot like as in get moldy due to over watering or not having pots that drain well or even crap soil.......

you guys say all this but i give nuts from birth and in all my growing have never had any probs its because i dont over water i water till the first sings of water come from the bottom of the pot.. try two bye a small fan and have it pointed at the reflector that will move the heat about a bit...
