lol depends on how big you plan on making the plants if you just want 2 small 2 footer's then you might want 4 23w cfls and 1 42w cfl and buy 3 of the Y-sockets connect the 3 Y-sockets together and put the 23w in them get a socket and put the 42w in the middle
