    X-Pand Instant Garden Soil (coco)

I'm using this at 1/2 peat moss and 1/2 coir (this stuff) and some perlite. The manufacturer is at X-Seed :: Garden Soil :: X-Pand Instant Garden Soil Has anyone used this stuff? I'm concerned because it has nutes in it (so I consider in not virgin coir). I can get it locally so this is...

    Light green leaves on top

SHIT! Didn't answer the H2O2 question. I don't know but from what I hear it is good (even for soil and soles growers). Just use food grade since the store stuff (the kind we use for cuts) has bad stuff in it for herb (inert ingrdients). See...

    Light green leaves on top

I'm doing a 1/2 coir and 1/2 peat moss so it's not a hydro. I found my PH is the medium was off so I corrected that (flushed the shit out of it). Also cut back on the nutes, this helped also. I also did a foliar feed of 1/4 epsom salt dissolved in 1 quart of water (recommended in 1/2 but I...

    Light green leaves on top

It's getting there. Two of the biggest plants really smell so I kicked on my carbon scrubber. Smell really isn't an issue where I live but better to be safe than sorry. I can only imagine it's going to get much worse when I put them into flower.

    Cloning Ph Question

Going to try my first cloning soon. I am going to do them with Jiffy Peat Pellets. I plan to nuke the Jiffy pellets for about 10 minutes then put them in an oven at 250 degrees to kill and of those nasty fungus gnats I keep hearing about. I have a heat mat and propagation tray with humidity...

4 day bud dryer for $40.

How about this for an economical heat source. Use a 50 or 100 watt incandescent light bulb inside a coffee can (to block the light since you need to dry in the dark) inside the box. Or, a small box or galvanized steel duct with the bulb inside it outside of the dryer's intake and a light trap...

new growth is yellowish, rest of plant is green (PICS ATTH)

Nope but there good with a little basil when you get the munchies! In regards to your 12/12 question, I saw somewhere (maybe here) where a grower implemented a very creative light schedule. It wasn't based on a 24 hour day. I'll try to find the link but basically they reset their timer each...

Thanks Bless, I've been ass backwards lately on allot of things :) Interesting science lesson. You must be a botanist or something. I'm trying to gain as much knowledge as possible. Although I am just growing for personal use, I have found this to be a very enjoyable hobby and have gone a...

new growth is yellowish, rest of plant is green (PICS ATTH)

DUH, almost forgot. What are your temperatures and humidity? I read somewhere (help me out if I'm wrong guys and gals), that if a plant is subject to high temperatures, the leaves become broader to help the plant transpire water (like sweating). If your plant is in fact an Indica and has thin...

new growth is yellowish, rest of plant is green (PICS ATTH)

I'm a newbie but Sativa plants generally have thinner leaves while Indica strains have broader fan leaves. You are probably growing a Sativa (which gives you a headier high as opposed to the couch potato high of an Indica).
