I got a picture that shows the white spots I have. Someone suggested these could be early trichomes, which I am inclined to believe :) But on a 2 weeks old veg already?

Also, in the pic above it SEEMS like there are little stalks forming underneath the dots. my plants do not have this little stalk (yet).

How would you be able to tell the difference between early trichomes and mildew/fungus? I would think over time, the mildew would kill the plant and that's how you know it's fungus. But at that point I'd think it's too late, so is there any early easy way to tell apart? I will be posting a...
