I started with a hanging distance of 3 feet when the plants were young, lights dimmed to about 50% They took a week for them to recover after being started with a very low powered veg light. 20w Gradually lowered lights over a few weeks & adjusted dimmers to = 300w total in 2x4 with 3 lights...

Yeah, size #1 phillips for dimmer screw If I were to munt the plastic screw head, I reckon I would add a tiny amount of good glue to the screwdriver tip, hope it sets & never remove it. Got to be easier than stripping the driver & replacing the butchered component
