    DNA genetics

I got a DNA Kosher Cookies freebie that I just planted that broke ground but shortly after that has been doing absolutely nothing. I have a Barney's Farm - Wedding Cake right next to it that's doing great. I have a DNA Holy Grail Kush I planted as well and it doesn't seem that vigorous but it's...

Help 100amp service will this be safe

I am glad that it isn't 12 gauge! I would have been most worried about that, so thank you for letting me know.

MAXIMIZING FLOWER YIELD: CO2/Temps & HOW TO AVOID: too much Lux/PPFD?

I have and it's why I say they are wildly inaccurate with a lot of androids being over reference by 60% and iOS being under reference by 60%. I don't know about you but that is a giant deviation...

MAXIMIZING FLOWER YIELD: CO2/Temps & HOW TO AVOID: too much Lux/PPFD?

I am pretty sure the lux apps on phones are wildly inaccurate.

Indoor Grow Mars Hydro TS 1000W - Five different strains

I don't think the Amnesia Lemon Kush is going to make it unfortunately. The DNA Kosher Cookies and the Amnesia Lemon Kush both made it above the surface but haven't been doing much since they broke ground. The Barney's Farm is showing the most vigor out of all the seedlings and the Holy Grail...

MAXIMIZING FLOWER YIELD: CO2/Temps & HOW TO AVOID: too much Lux/PPFD?

I believe 29 for the ambient should be fine and as you said earlier even upward of 35-40 degrees Celsius the plants were still fine with when at 1,500 ppm of CO2. I don't believe adverse effects come until after 40 degrees Celsius. Some say if you're running LEDs that a higher ambient...

    12x12 room w/ 5-61000watt hps

I believe he is saying dehumidifiers? You simply run the ducting out the window. I don't know what area you're in, or how close your neighbors are but shooting a bunch of cannabis air out the side of your house might not be a good idea. EDIT: Ohhh, double ended lights, hahaha.

MAXIMIZING FLOWER YIELD: CO2/Temps & HOW TO AVOID: too much Lux/PPFD?

I would say Lux meter since it's cheap the quantum meters can be like $300+ where you could grab a lux meter for $50 off Amazon to give you a rough idea. Lol, I must be stoned because I was completely negating the CO2 in the room. Your temperatures should be more than fine if you're running...

    12x12 room w/ 5-61000watt hps

Boy oh boy, 6000W of HPS is going to put off an insane amount of heat, lol. I imagine you're talking about a bedroom which is typically in the 10x10 range or maybe 12x12. The conversion I've seen is for every 1 watt of HPS light you need 3 BTU. So...18,000 BTU but this can depend on if the...

    12x12 room w/ 5-61000watt hps

The cheap way I did it was simply tape/attach thick black trashbags to the other side of the door which is surprisingly effective. So the bags would be on the inside of the room. You could also grab some thick door seals to put around the edges combined with a "draft blocker" for doors.

MAXIMIZING FLOWER YIELD: CO2/Temps & HOW TO AVOID: too much Lux/PPFD?

Here is a nice experiment using a thermal camera to show the surface leaf temperatures of cannabis under varying kinds of lights. You might be surprised by the results! https://www.blackdogled.com/lst#Evidence The only way you're going to know for sure how much light is being put out at the...

MAXIMIZING FLOWER YIELD: CO2/Temps & HOW TO AVOID: too much Lux/PPFD?

Oh interesting, I have never heard of this guy before and I am now watching some of his Youtube videos. I love hearing educated people speak about the biology of cannabis! I'll report back once I'm done with this hour long video, lol.

MAXIMIZING FLOWER YIELD: CO2/Temps & HOW TO AVOID: too much Lux/PPFD?

I mean sure different strains have different tolerances but the plant biology is the same. I've flowered in non-ventilated spaces that hit 40 degrees Celsius and came out with weed that got me high but it was far from optimal. I thought the goal of these questions was because you wanted to...

MAXIMIZING FLOWER YIELD: CO2/Temps & HOW TO AVOID: too much Lux/PPFD?

That's true, but certain lights can raise the leaf temperature higher which happens with HPS. I don't know how close your lights are to your plants so the leaf temperature could be higher, the same, or lower. Even if the lights aren't that warm the difference in temperature would only be 1-2...

The best way honestly would be a CO2 tank.

MAXIMIZING FLOWER YIELD: CO2/Temps & HOW TO AVOID: too much Lux/PPFD?

I mean from what I've read a lot of the benefit from CO2 falls off around 1,200 ppm. Also the ability for the plant to utilize the CO2 is based on the intensity of the light. I believe keeping it around 1,200 ppm throughout the flowering period will be fine. Although a higher temperature does...

    12x12 room w/ 5-61000watt hps

Pumping CO2 into the room greatly increases the plants ability to thrive in high temperatures and also in environments without a lot of air circulation. Honestly I know you've already invested into the lighting for your room but I was having similar issues running HPS in a closet. I had a 600W...

Indoor Grow Mars Hydro TS 1000W - Five different strains

Another update, all the seeds have popped but the Amnesia Lemon Kush has...ran out of energy really early in its life it seems, lol. I predict it will die and then I can choose another strain to run. Here are the pictures... Oh great, super out of focus. You can barely seed it popping up out...

Seedsman White OG and Critical Purple Kush - 400W HPS + LED (Indoor)

Alright quick update, it seems I severely stunted a few of my plants due to the transplanting I did. Also I had the White OG #1 in all rockwool and ended up burning it, and transplanted it into some 50/50 perlite/hermiculite. So it was really stunted but has been showing some growth in the past...

Help 100amp service will this be safe

Oh boy, I hate to be the party pooper but this is definitely not up to code. You have exposed wire which should be in conduit. If you're feeding the 100 amp subpanel with the same 12 gauge wire that's a problem too. A 12 gauge wire is only rated up to 25 amps in 75 degrees or warmer and as low...
