What strain are you looking to get?

While I have not ordered from Cannabis Seeds before, I do have experience with pot-seeds.uk. They have decent prices and selection but the customer service is what puts them over the top. Very quick replies and fast shipping!

If they don't sprout in another week what should be my next step? Should i take them out and try the paper towel method or is a waste of time to try to re-soak the seeds?:confused:

I know they sell that type of insulated ducting at my local hydro shop. It has multiple layers to dampen both sound and heat emission. Its sort of like Gortex for your grow room :mrgreen: I have never used it but i am in the process of setting a new hps up and I am considering the same thing...

They are in a 3 part mix of Ocean Forest, Light Warrior, and planting mixture, all from foxfarm. Some refer to this as moonshine mix, after its creator.

I pre-soaked my seeds for around 32 hours then put them in a warm humid dark place to sprout. Its been almost a week now and no sign of life. Should I start to get concerned?

The only thing that would be that precise would most likely be a digital application. Some made for lighting systems can be programmed and left on autopilot up to seven days.

Check this setup out... It's a 150 watt hps kit for only 70 dollars. That is the smallest wattage you will most likely find on any grow related site. To grow properly with an HID you will need at least three items for the lighting setup. Bulb Reflector ( to make the lighting more efficient)...

The seedlings should not need to move under the lights currently over the plant in question for at least another week. I'll take a poll of everyone's opinion and at the end of the week I'll take a tally. It's life is in the hands of all here at RIU :twisted: All the input is appreciated!

I have 5 seeds starting at the moment under a blue LED. I soaked them in water for a bit over a full day and just planted them 3 days ago. Three of the five already sprouted! One of the 2 under the soil is a feminized white widow so I am keeping the fingers crossed that she show soon.

No sugar coating? Will it become more obvious that its a male if I let it grow for another week or should I just chop it now?

What do you think the chances are it will turn out to be a girl?

Right, I thought it might be the heat... Right now it gets around 88 with reasonable humidity. How much longer tell you can be certain its a male?

You could look around at your local craigslist if your in a major city you can usually find pretty nice deals on there. I suggest going out any getting a few CFLs (with the blue spectrum, 6500 wavelength) if your down to your last plant and want to spend time looking around for the other...

I need to have some expert input on the state of this plant. Can anyone tell at this stage? Also I have not put it under 12/12 yet, it just decided to start budding on its own. The temps in my cab have been pretty high over the last few days, could that make it switch modes?

Thanks fshields, I had considered the cool tube but was wondering if this space would still heat up from the magnetic ballast if the tube was a sealed system The HTG supply system has a digital ballast and the other is the magnetic style. How much louder and hotter would the magnetic one be?

Also I will most likely be doing a SCROG setup. Looking to put in about six different girls. Does this tech usually require more or less lumens/watt?
