Does anyone know how long I should expect to be waiting until I'm able to determine whether or not my plant is a boy/girl?

Also, please keep in mind that all this happened over the span of 5 days. It went from germination to this, in 5 days. For me, that seems like a really fast pace.. so hopefully I'm doing something right.

I'm in the middle of my first grow actually. I've got one plant in the works, just to experiment and I planted it Sunday, and it's already a fully upright sprout! I'm very excited.

So, I planted the seed (that I started germination on Friday with) on Sunday, and now I already have a fully upright sprout. Is this good? Is this normal?

How moist was your paper towel? Depending on that, and where you placed the glass and seeds could effect it.

So, I came home today to find a seedling!!! I'm very excited. Whatever I'm doing must be working... hopefully it's a girl!

I think of it this way, if it isn't a female.. and it does grow, then at least I know I have the capability of growing a plant. Y'know?

Perhaps. I'm working on maybe building an internet portfolio (comes in mighty handy, trust me). You might want to look into doing the same. It could prove useful when trying to advertise your skills.

In a perfect world, I would be growing it outdoors and let it happen they way nature intended on it... but alas, critters find the pot a mighty tasty treat.

I wouldn't want to plant outdoors anyway. There are barn cats all over my area, and they'll eat my plants anyway, that and my actualy vegetable garden barely survives what with all the deer munching away.

I'm not sure what strain the seeds are, they're bag seed, but it's good shit. It's got some nice orange-ish hairs and it provides a good clean hit. As far as the size of my grow space, I keep it on my desk by an open window during the day then at night I put it near a fan at a very light...

I had an experience with a cat once. A few friends and I were indulging in some herbal remedies, and we left the room. We came back, and my friend's cat took the baggie out of my pocket, opened it, emptied it.. and was rolling in my stuff... It was funny as hell, but it took me forever to pick...

I'm no expert, but I'd think if the roots are fine, there's no problem... but maybe just try potting them, and hope for the best.

I'm going to try an find something that is simple, if I can find a basic desk lamp that can handle a CFL bulb, and just use that I will... (I've got plenty more seeds so that I don't have to worry about growing them one at a time). So far, so good... now I just have to wait for the plant to...

Thanks, I consider myself to be a concept artist/ illustrator. I've also been known to do some comic book work as well.
